Jayco Newcastle Ambassadors

Blanchy, a Newcastle boy through and through, is a Jayco Newcastle Vanbassador and began his caravanning experience in a 2019 Jayco Swift. Blanchy and his wife Alyssa took their Swift up and down the East Coast of Australia, from Umina right up to Sandstone Point in QLD. Blanchy’s top tip with the Swift was including an air conditioner on their order. “It meant we could literally travel all year round and always get a good night’s sleep”.

In July 2020 Blanchy and Alyssa stepped up into a 2019 Jayco Silverline OB. “It’s dreamy!”. Some of the great inclusions are the electric awning for those windy days but knowing his love for cooking, there’s one feature Blanchy can’t live without. “The slide-out kitchen is the best, we cook every meal on there when the weather is kind! But seriously, from bacon & eggs to a full roast in the cast iron pot, the slide-out kitchen is a must have.”

So far Blanchy and Alyssa have taken their Jayco Newcastle Silverline to Bulahdelah Big 4, Forster Big 4, Hawks Nest Jimmy’s Beach, Belmont Lakeside Holiday Park and Norah Head Caravan Park. One thing they love is the number of great parks that are in close proximity to Newcastle.

In 2023 Blanchy said a fond goodbye to his Silverline and is now travelling in style in the latest Jayco Journey model. We can’t wait to see where his adventures take him!
